what I think of the baby jogger city select

After finding out the surprising news that I was pregnant with #2 when my firstborn was only 5 months old, I knew that I would soon be in the market for a double stroller.
I did a lot of research and after buying and selling quite a few double strollers, I finally found my perfect fit, the Baby Jogger City Select Stroller.
I just love the versatility of the City Select. You can configure the seats in so many ways. Facing each other, both facing forward, both facing you, and facing opposite directions. You can use only one seat and then add an adapter for your car seat or you can do two car seats or two bassinets. The configurations are endless.  My son loves to face his new baby brother and smile and talk to him and yet my two toddlers both love to face forward and with tandem seating both children have an unobstructed view of the world. I love having the car seat adapter so that when I get somewhere and my newborn is sleeping, I just click his car seat onto the stroller and I don’t worry about having to wake him up and put him in the stroller seat.

What I also love about the City Select is the fact that it can be a single or double stroller depending on your needs at anytime. One thing I never liked doing and probably you too is having to constantly switch out of your car, your single or double stroller, when you need to run different errands with different children. With the city select, there is no longer the back breaking job of doing that, it is always the same stroller frame and you simply click one seat in or two. It’s up to you!
We all know how much gear comes with having children, The basket on this stroller is HUGE! We love it!
Unlike other tandem double strollers, where only the back seat reclines. Both seats on the City Select fully recline. My kids love how comfortable it is to take a nap and I don’t feel guilty about going out or needing to schedule my errands around their nap, because they can sleep right in the stroller.
The sun canopy on each of the City Select seats is a full coverage canopy. With two peek a boo windows on each seat for so that you can keep an eye on your child.

Adjustable handle bar for those tall parents, my husband is over 6 feet and pushes it with no problem at all.
The frame is very sturdy and will not tip when your child climbs in and out of it, whether they are climbing into the back or the front. I was out at a store with one of my previous double strollers and my toddler was in the front and my newborn in the back seat and my toddler got out to walk and the whole stroller tipped over backwards with my newborn inside and he almost hit the floor. Needless to say I never used that stroller again.
We parents have enough to worry about. We need peace of mind that what is carrying our precious child will keep them safe while out and about. With the City Select you get that peace of mind.
